National League Finals Information asset 1 If you are taking the train to the Rugby League National League Finals on Sunday 7 October the Carnegie stadium at Headingley is a fifteen minute walk from Burley Park and Headingley stations. Both stations are on the Harrogate Line served by an hourly train service leaving Leeds Station at six minutes to each hour; both the 1554 and the 16.54 will operate with additional carriages to cater for the extra fans.

On Sunday 7 October there is engineering work on the line between Horsforth and Harrogate and trains will run only between Leeds and Horsforth. Northern Rail will be providing two additional services between Leeds and Horsforth leaving Leeds at 16.30 and 1730 and calling at Burley Park and Headingley. Burley Park is the first stop - a four minute journey time from Leeds - and Headingley the next stop three minutes later.

Trains return from Headingley at 18 minutes past each hour and from Burley Park at 20 minutes past the hour arriving back at Leeds station at half past the hour. After 20.18 Northern will be running three trains from Horsforth at 20.45 (calling at Headingley at 20.49, Burley Park at
20.51 and arriving into Leeds at 21.01)at 21.20 (calling at Headingley at 21.24, Burley Park 21.26 and arriving into Leeds at 21.36) and at
21.36 (calling at Headingley at 21.40, Burley Park at 21.42 and arriving at Leeds at 21.49).

Fans travelling from Widnes are advised that there are no trains on Sunday between Widnes and Manchester. Engineering work will be carried out on the route and replacement buses will operate calling at all stations so journey times will be significantly longer. Customers might consider travelling from St Helens Junction to Manchester to connect with trains to Leeds.
