Rail services return to normal

UPDATE – 06.30hrs
Northern Rail services are returning to normal following the flooding problems, although some services are still affected. These are:
- Sheffield – Leeds via Barnsley. Shuttle services are in operation between Sheffield and Barnsley and Wakefield/Kirkgate and Leeds. Road replacement services are also in operation between Wakefield and Barnsley;
- Leeds – Harrogate – York. Services are suspended between Knaresborough and York. Road replacement services are in operation;
Northern Rail and Network Rail are working to resume normal running to these services as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
