Community Rail Festival 2006

The festival will offer a wide range of events and activities which promote the role of railways in the community and will also be a celebration of the achievements of the ‘Community Rail Movement’.

Northern will be introducing a temporary Day Ranger as part of the Community Rail Festival at various locations on the Bishop Auckand – Darlington – Middlesbrough – Saltburn line over the weekend of 23rd / 24th September 2006.


The Day Ranger ticket will be valid for one day only for I Adult who can be accompanied by up to 4 Children – allowing a days unlimited travel on all Northern Rail services within the area listed below, enabling customers to visit the various events taking place in the area.


Stations included in area; Sunderland, Seaham, Hartlepool, Seaton Carew, Billingham, Stockton, Thornaby, Middlesbrough, Saltburn, Marske, Longbeck, Redcar East, Redcar Central, Redcar British Steel, South Bank, Eaglescliffe, Allens West, Teeside Airport, Dinsdale, Darlington, North Road, Heighington, Newton Aycliffe, Shildon & Bishop Auckand
